Melusi Nkomo's research interests include African politics; the African state; labor; and their intersections with cultural and social activities. He was previously a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Zurich and a Swiss National Science Foundation-supported visiting doctoral fellow at Harvard University's Centre for African Studies.
